Co2 build up can often lead to cyano.
So maybe the wrong track.

The blue bottle is just aminos.
No apperant organic carbon source.

A positive update. Bad timing, but...prior to the hiccup, I had ordered some nudis. I'm hoping a natural remedy might be good to get rid of my aiptasia. So far, everything else has made them multiply. Anyway...they arrived yesterday in much cooler weather than was expected.

I had never seen these guys in person. Very cool little dragon looking critters. Much to my surprise, all 7 made it alive and safely made it to shelter in the tank.

Finding them once theyve done their job is the hard part. I added four to a tank a while back. They demolished the aiptasia but I never saw a single one after adding them.
