Yes. I think that was secondary when I pulled my heater out. The clown looks 100% "normal" today.

I'm trying to do some long term planning. A bigger tank. I'm a cube girl. I just prefer it. I really don't want it deeper than my son's 32 biocube(an inch or 2 would be ok) I think I'd like a 90, but maybe a 60. Any pros or cons to either?

Sounds painful right? It absorbs CO2. Has industrial uses too. Basically helps with your pH. pH can go pretty low if say windows are closed and lots of people around. For your “closed” tank probably less of an issue.

A media reactor that attaches to you skimmer air intake. Air is drawn into the reactor over the media reducing CO2 before hitting your skimmer. Thus more oxygen rich air is put into the system. They do work however the media is pricey. I would probably use if my PH was very low. Like never getting above 7.8 low.

Yes, The Biocube runs pretty low PH Another thing to consider is the actual amount of air your skimmer draws. generally speaking these nano skimmers dont pull a ton of air compared to a full size so the impact may not be as substantial as you might hope.

Yeah. The hood mod came too late too! I'm working on it though.

Just tank alone would be a great deal then.

The 66 is only a few inches shorter than mine and 20" tall. Still a full 24" deep so you have room to scape.

I would persuade you to the 90 cube, but at 24" tall with a 36" stand... the rim of the tank is nose height. I have to get a stool to do anything inside. The extra vertical room inside the sump is very nice tho.
