Now that she has been out and about I have been able to see her full body. She has scars all over. Most have faded away, but the bad ones are still white.

Yeah, I though before it seemed he came fully down on top of her or totally wrapped around her. She is a very lucky girl. And tough as nails apparently.

I think you are correct. The pattern shows Weirdo wrapped completely around her including her eyes and gills.

I think Goblin and her pistol have a very special relationship. Very bonded. When she was down, the pistol made little sand dunes around her both under the rock and on the sandbed. I also notice when Andrew puts a frag in a spot she likes to perch, the pistol comes out and moves it. Strange, but I think they communicate.

Are you saying the pistol took care of her after the anemone attack? I think I am tearing up that is so cute.

Yes. 100%. At first I thought he might be trying to complete the circle of life, but he really did seem to protect her.
