Genius. And ewww!

Now y'all are gonna say my Nascar collector plates aren't priceless.

"If it's got a 3 on it, it's worth it". That was actually said to me one day at a flea market when I asked if the guy really wanted $150 for an Earnhardt ball cap. LOL!!!

Nascar. This is actually an acquaintance of mine. He got a record contract from Jimmy Buffett after winning a national songwriter's contest (a cool story in it's own right). This is off that CD.

I was able to get him a Dennis Anderson autograph in Atlanta before he retired. The crew guys were super nice and had an excellent sense of humor. That's a story for our get together...

I doubt you will ever hear him on the radio, unless it would be an internet radio station. He is on Margaritaville Radio on satellite. Of course, you will only hear a couple of Jimmy's songs on the main stream radio, but he is worth about half a billion dollars. Not many "one hit wonders" can say that. Ha. I met Matt through our local Parrot Head club that I used to be president of. I hired him to play for us a few times when he was travelling through town, between New Orleans and the Houston/Galveston area. He is a great guy with a very interesting story. He is still a detective in Gauthier.

I actually started watching Nascar races and Monster Jam because of Andrew. He's all boy. I had to explore new territory.
I am an old school NASCAR fan. Can't say I enjoy it much anymore. Too many changes that have few similarities to other forms of racing. I lived in Riverside, CA for three years and spent a lot of time at the old Riverside International Raceway, which has since succumbed to urban sprawl. Any old timer race driver that you can name, I saw them drive there. NASCAR, TransAm, Can-Am and Formula racing. I do miss the free passes that my dad got to all the races. Can't afford to go now. :)

My driver retired Jeff Gordon. Thats my uncles driver. I adopted him because I watched the races with my Uncle Jeff. He was my surrogate dad. He would take me fishing. Told me to catch our bait. He always had worms. I never caught enough. To many memories good and bad.

Oh exciting news I was asked to help start a sw tank for a friend. 32g bio cube
