this means i need to give my coral and fish money to fix my vehicles. the american truck is a easy and cheap fix. the other makes me want to crawl up in a ball and destroy it.Sorry to hear that man.. I know the struggle. I hit a pot hole while driving my street car on the way to a super bowl party. It’s still messed up. I think I cracked my catalytic converter. That’s not a cheap fix on my E92 ;Drowninghello! Hows everyone! Im having real bad luck lately. both my cars are broken down... im very sadthis means i need to give my coral and fish money to fix my vehicles. the american truck is a easy and cheap fix. the other makes me want to crawl up in a ball and destroy it.
Yes I use the thunderstorms and lighting effects every night from around 7pm on a random pattern as the tank ‘goes blue’. It’s quiet effective and very atmosphericYou did. @SPR1968 uses his lightning mode. He had some videos of Triggers and some of sand anemones spawning during the lightning. It was pretty neat.
Well that sounds pretty cool.. ! LolYes I use the thunderstorms and lighting effects every night from around 7pm on a random pattern as the tank ‘goes blue’. It’s quiet effective and very atmospheric
It’s timed perfectly with my wine consumption as I slowly ‘drift away’. It’s like an anesthetic without the counting! Lol
And can I steal your indexing system Brian! Lol
Any time! I find it so interesting you use storms every night. And can I steal your indexing system Brian! Lol
I always have, it’s very effective and as you’ve seen it puts the creatures in the mood for luuvvv!Any time! I find it so interesting you use storms every night.

I never even thought of that. Yes, he would love building one!Such a good mom!
As far as controllers that can use an iPad; have you looked into building a reef pi controller? They're not that difficult to build, will save you a ton of money and have a really great support thread here, right @Ranjib ? Plus there are quite a number of other members' build threads. Lots of members always ready and eager to help. I know Andrew would really love putting a reef pi system together with you!
I actually think they do.Yea, I still had the 35 cube running when I replaced the DI. It was shut down almost a year ago now... this time last year I was planning and ordering stuff for the Fairy Tale. I made 5 gallons last night(serious RO shortage at the house filling that Reefer, I usually have at least 5g in a tote with ATOs full. I plan on 60 gallons of RODI and Salt storage here soon in a mixing station) and I checked the DI. Maybe a 1/2" of color change in the first canister. I need one of those auto flush RO buddies, DI resin would last me forever.I remember you changing those out. If I remember right just about a year
there are pages in r2r that says 30 would be fine. That goes against all I've read and know. Just making sure I didn't miss something.
@crusso1993 funny you brought that up (thank you btw!) Andrew got to visit the Middle School on Friday. The STEM program teacher asked his name and said "you have a spot on my team".
I recently sold a bracelet to help pay for the tank (honesty in Reefing), and I got Andrew the Arduino mega starter kit to tinker with this summer. I assume this will lend in him building a controller?
I am not really tech savvy. I have to Google the hell out of each thing to figure out how to piece something together. I can do it, it just doesn't come easy. What does the PI use? Maybe I can find him something to tinker with. The STEM team would be very cool for Andrew!
reef pi uses no Arduinos. However, an Arduino mega starter kit will still be a great endeavor for Andrew! (I did not capitalize "reef pi" as that is the intended use of the creator of the project, Ranjib.)
