Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

Or you have to back to the land or origin.i believe my family goes back to the 1200

I used to play an online pirate game on the PC, used my real name as my character name... really creative... anyway one day I'm sailing my ship thru the Caribbean and I get a PM. Someone asks me where I got my last name and I replyed, "My father"... they thought it was just character name. Told me there was a castle where they were named Haselden... I forget where they said it was tho...

Unlike many in this thread, I spent my early years in St. Vincent Infirmary and Orphanage. I was adopted out by an Italian family and raised Italian American. However, about 1.5 years ago, I located my birth mother and had some communication with her. I was told that side of my lineage is from Norway. She also told me she thought my father was a rock 'n roller that was part of the group The Shadows of Knight. His name was Joe Kelley and he died in 2013. There's really no way to prove this without exhumation. My birth name was James Michael Griswold but was changed when I was adopted. (No relation to Clark Griswold!)

I've considered doing a DNA test but there are two things that keep me from doing so. 1.) It would not change anything and I have no interest and 2.) I am slightly paranoid about my DNA being outside of my control.

It won't change anything, we were all just curious.

Me being American, I think there is always an air of mystery to our lineage. Our culture is so diverse, no one can exactly say where they are from. Even in much older countries, I've seen YouTube videos where people have been absolutely surprised to find out some of their DNA comes from far away. I've also seen some videos where orphans check their DNA and they have some of the same apprehensions as you. At then end of the day, it's your choice to know, and it won't change who you are. It just gives you an idea of where you came from.

Well, according to my birth mother, I came from a couple of hard nights of partying in 1967! Lol

If we all trace our lineage back far enough we'll find out we came from a form of mushroom! :D

You turned out well!

I have fair skin, red hair, grey eyes. I do know my lineage with the Cherokee side from a family Bible and stories. I come from a grey eyed tribe rumored to have had something to do with the Roanoke story.
