Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

I hope you find him.
Me to. Everything came out good though. Haven’t scaped just put everything in there. I had a ton of rock in my biocube so the biological filtration should be fairly decent right out of the gate on this 40b.

Doing good. Just have been crazy busy lately. Hopefully things will calm down here soon. How about you ?

Busy getting ready for the wedding. Spending money like no tomorrow. :)

Had to take a sanity break and go the frag swap today.

Now, it's back to cleaning tomorrow and catching up on some 3d printing for folks ;)

BTW, maybe I am picky, but, the prices they were charging for 3d printed reef gadgets that looked like total crap really aggravated me.

I mean, stringing, blobs, underextrusion and just plain ugly stuff.

I will make a killing if I take a bunch of stuff to a swap. :)

I'm new it would be my first coral.
Is it worth me trying to keep one of these alive?
Should I just find some cheap frags instead??

Yumas are deff a little harder than most mushrooms. Maybe do a trial run with a random discosoma first since they are like $10.

Agreed. Most Yumas are way overpriced but, being that's the cost, I would go with something dead simple.

Wish you lived closer. I have 3 different kinds of mushrooms I would give you.

I don't have that option, first chance I'll get to put anything in one of these tanks here is from that frag swap.
I may pass this time around and get one at the fall swap in November. I'll have a better grasp of what the heck I'm doing at that point.
We'll see when I'm at the swap.

We were supposed to have severe weather here today, but it thankfully never showed up. Looked bad and really windy, but very little rain. I managed to cut my mom's yard and my yard, when I was planning on sleeping all day while it rained. Glad I chose to attempt the yards, even though it did start to rain when I made my first pass with the mower at my mom's. But, I got them both done. Now I have time to go to the store tomorrow. Yay!

Looking at getting my first coral in two weeks at my local frag swap. It's a Godzilla rainbow yuma mushroom. Any thoughts or concerns?

I love mushrooms! ;);)
