I'm good with water changes. That is the only thing I'm confident I can handle so far! Does everybody feel this dumb starting out?

Yes. Just don't overfeed.

About what timeframe can I expect to add shrimp? Provided my water checks out ok?

I know we didn't get a picture if your live Rock. We would know better if we knew where, what kind and how long it was out if the water, but about 3 to 4 weeks

It was taken directly out of the tank. Less than 2 hrs out of the tank and kept wet.

She had beautiful corals. Lost the tank lighting. 9 lbs of live rock, 1 ball of chaeto, 2 dead barnacles, 1 dead staghorn. 1 rotting piece of shrimp.

Beautiful tank. I would think that if everything goes well and you are using something like bio-spira you should be up and ready for cleaning crew in about 3 weeks

It is a good bactira for getting the cycle going. There are different brands, but you want to make sure you get it from a good lfs, because if it gets to warm it kills the good bacteria and just makes it worse. Any brand will help

Yes, but if I remember right, that has a declorinator in it also.

Tank looks great, really like the aquascape. Now just testing to see when things are cycled.
