Anyone ever plant in a shell with a magnet on the back like they do with those little air ferns?

yes I know people that have done that.. they did it to get corals to start growing on the back wall of the tank. Zoas and GSP were most common

Anyone else not know mushrooms move like an anemone? I was blaming the crab...JKS was so nice to give me a lesson in corals tonight. Absolutely stunning corals there!!! I strongly encourage anyone to check it out.

I tried the phytoplankton from JKS last night. The water is crystal clear! The pods look happy and so does the coral. It isn't expensive, and I think it is our first MUST FEED! Anyone in the Knoxville area needs to give it a try.

Not sure what I have, in the back of the tank and impossible to photograph. It is bright purple and looks like a tiny volcano. Is this possibility branching coralline?

I have cyano.

Minor and gha pretty minor. Waaaaay too much lighting. Hopefully issue caught in time. Thank God I called a pro to come out and tell us what we have done right and wrong. A little bummed. However he said our corals look great and so does Derby.

We got a little clownfish last night. I had already told my son yes and they had held it a couple of days so I could try to verify he'd be ok with our tank. He appears to be doing fine this morning. Now because of my son's well wishes in the car " Just Keep Swimming" will be stuck in my head.

I guess I should mention that my son was insistent that we get this little guy. He has one really tiny fin like Nemo. My son was afraid nobody else would want him. If there may be issues because of his little fin, please feel free to give me a heads up so I can be prepared.
