Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

I use Red Sea blue bucket salt.

I love my Smart ATO. I recommended it over the Tunze to someone here yesterday as well. Not that the Tunze is bad but for smaller AIO setups it's perfect.

Hope you figured something out that doesnt come with kidnapping charges :)

Lol.... a friend here had carbon reactor just dump carbon in the tank.

Saw that... so the carbon really tumbled and liquified?? I didnt know that was even possible.
Murphy's Law be danged!!!

The Tuze pump is on the loud side. Its far and away the loudest thing on my tank however its only rumming for 30 seconds or so at a time. The float and optical sensor mount is also a little bulky and wont fit well in an AIO compartment. Again its a great ATO but to me i like silent.

The Smart ATO has a much smaller formfactor when it comes to the optical sensor mount and fits the AIO compartments much better. The pump also runs dead silent.

I believe the Tunze has the stronger pump if distance or Head height is of any concern. Assuming your ATO container is next to, or under the tank either is fine.

Theyre both very good kits.
