I had something similar in the beginning and wound up never using it. Go with a Flipper Nano and never look back.

How does everyone have their filter set up? What chemical filtration are u running? Is purigen a good choice for a nano?

Will, our BioCubes are totally different than your filter. I can't answer the filter questions you have. I'm too inexperienced. Post the pic you sent me here. I'm pretty sure these guys will know.

Will, you can use an ORIGINAL magic eraser to clean your tank. It works well. (Mr.Clean)

I would probably use a bag of either Purigen and eventually Phosguard in the upper slot with Chemipure Blue in the lower. How big was this tank? Was it the 13G? In the area below the sponge you could use some sort of bio filtration like Seachem Matrix or Marine Pure balls.

The original magic eraser does not have chemicals. Yes, clean your glass with it. You can cut it in half also. 2 for one.
