I’m sorry, and this probably will make a lot of you hate me but, seriously? I love Katrina’s witty comments like the rest of you but a “vital part of the reefing community”?? She literally said “I am brand new to saltwater. My son got an 8 gallon bio cube” in March of this year and the 3k comments she’s gotten on that thread is mostly banter amongst friends. Her sons tank wouldn’t even be considered mature amongst most of you veteran reefers.
Katrina, don’t get me wrong. You are a sweetheart.
I’m sure I’ll be banned from R2R now or get bombarded with hate mail or messages. And I hate being SALTY but Id like to see these excellence awards go out to people who actually contribute REEF related knowledge and people who are veterans in the game, you know the people you seek out for their input.
Again, Katrina is GREAT! But “very informative” I don’t know..”Vital”??..if you mean full of energy, sure I’ll go with that but absolutely necessary, I think she’d even tell you she’s still new and relies on those people I mentioned earlier that you seek out for info.
I myself am still green and I know this, and this isn’t because I haven’t received such a reward, but come on Team R2R did you really do your homework? I know plenty of other people on here who are more deserving. [emoji1308]
