Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

I learn everything through you guys and reading. I'm hoping to get this right.

Ditto. You know stuff and you are smart. We all end up learning from each other no matter where we began. We know this is a fact measurable by the success of the site and how reef confident we all are because of it.

Randy, Lasse, even Paul B. are better reefers because of the online communities they have frequented.

I started reading Paul B first. Then Lasse. Now Randy. Sometimes Randy might as well be speaking another language.

Dosing pump. I said it. A Jebao DP 4.
I used to run this before switching to calcium reactor.

I suggest reading Randy's articles about 2 parts dosing. and if you have any question I'll be happy to help out.
To detriment the daily dose test for alkalinity and calcium today and test again after exactly 24 hours. then program the doser to dose the amount needed. And it better to split the dose into multiple dose across the day, another tip is to keep half an hour or so between the alkalinity dose and the calcium dose.

Those tend to bind and cause precipitate, right?

Here is the dolphin I mentioned.

I dose mine in two doses each, Alkalinity at blues on and one after blues off. Calcium at the mid points between. I dose a small amount as it is a small tank and I only lose about 0.2 dKH daily.

I used to dose 7 mls/hour of each part. long story short now I run a calcium reactor.
The cost of shipping calcium from USA to KSA was killing me

@Brew12 this is my build thread. My thread. My tank. My style. Do I have to wait until I start the new tank to get a banner?
Nope.

Post a link to your thread here and voila. Tag @Brew12 in it so you have someone to blame if it does not work.

+1 Just this... if you don't get it in a day or two, let me know.

I dose mine in two doses each
I dose mine in 12 doses throughout the day with alk and calc offset by 30 minutes. I also dose 1400mL of kalkwasser spread out over 70 doses a day. I've thought changing up my dosing schedule so more happens during the day and less at night but the programming on a Profilux isn't straight forward to make that happen. My Alk is 0.2dkh higher at 8am than it is at 8pm because more alk is consumed during the day than at night. Very minor issue though, so not worried about it.

LOL. I am dosing 6 ml. And rising.

I'm dosing 56mL of each 2 part, and the Kalkwasser is the equivalent of around 30ml more of each.
