My pocketbook is grateful that I think the koi scopas look like diseased yellow tangs

Yeah, they aren't really my cup of tea either but are very unique. I liken them to a Jackson Pollock painting.

I think they are attractive, but if I had to pick one of them over a few yellow tangs, I would take the yellows. I think I'm partial to them because of how many I saw diving in Hawaii. In my mind, yellow tangs are the epitome of a healthy reef.

I like the koi scopas just because of the what the heck moments. Other than that im a very simple man, i like all tangs except vlamingi.

However, i think if i were to spend money it be on Wrought Iron Butterflyfish, Harlequin tusk, Spotted Drum and Neptune Grouper.

Im with you there! Unique had some for about $600 but they look to be gone now. This is the best price Ive seen them at.
