A tank question. I understand tangs need linear swimming space to be happy. Has anyone kept them in a cube? (Yes officer, I mean a big cube)

Yes. Easy. It’s not really linear.
Also depending on the Rock work in a tank , even standard tank estimates for fish is kinda silly.

Morning everyone. I have a sorta juvenile purple tang in my 15 gallon. I rescued him from PetCo as he picked at the dead rotting carcass of a clownfish for dinner. I couldn't just leave it there. He was about the size of a quarter. I had fully intended to have it in a 125 within a few months, but we all know that didn't happen. Fast forward 10-11 months and the fish is quite a bit larger. He eats like a pig and swims around in the little tank all day and is very healthy. He is not psychotic or freaking out about the small confines. It is the only fish in the tank. He will likely freak out when he has a lot of room to swim in the coming months. Shields up for the tang police. Pic to follow in a minute....

I commend you for rescuing the fish but I dont wear a badge either so I see a conversation like this coming.
