Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

NyQuil apparently makes me have crazy dreams. I dreamt I got a clown trigger! Nooooooo...

LOL. That is funny. Might as well get a horseshoe crab too if it is a dream.

So I just quickly drew a shop drawing to make sure we had enough sump capacity for drain down during power outages and to allow for pumps like the Sicce 2.0 and Eheim 1260. I am an old dog so no fancy 3D computer generated pictures from. I may need to darken up the drawing but this is a general idea based on the dimensions Katrina 71 gave me.

Here she is!!! :)

Seems right to me. I know you will build the stand to work with what you get. BTW, I think the skimmer chamber is fine. Will fit a 9004 easy and it does not seem skimming is a priority anyway. I like maximizing the refugium. A separate refugium just adds more points of possible failure in my opinion.

I spy an Oxydator in that sump. I have that same one that I bought for my new tank, but of course it is still dry. Have you had it long and are you happy with it? What concentration of Hydrogen Peroxide do you use and how many catalysts? Tell me again how big your tank is? Sorry for the off topic question @Katrina71 :p

I have used them for years and would never run a tank without one now.
I have the A and a D in the big tank (550 litre water volume, 700 over all).
I use 6% peroxide and 2 catalysts in each.
