A wrasse will help. Do you have any crabs or shrimps. A nudi eating wrasse should be on your short list of fish to get for the new tank .I haven't dealt with any bad nudis yet.
Neotherm has fixed their issue with exploding heaters. Apparently the exact model that USED to explode were the 75w, 100w, and 150w iirc.@Bulk Reef Supply convinced me to get a cobalt neotherm heater.
So i purchased a 150w model. So far, it has just been tested on a 10g liverock tank (outside in a covered patio) and it keeps it at an extremely steady 78. I have an actual thermometer i keep in my tanks, and its reading hasn't changed so far
I was actually thinking a Wrasse would be good for the new tank.A wrasse will help. Do you have any crabs or shrimps. A nudi eating wrasse should be on your short list of fish to get for the new tank .
yep me to. But they go after carbs and shrimp.I got my melanarus for pest and he’s turned to probably the prettiest fish in the tank.
I keep a pederson shrimp.I can’t comment on the nudies, but I have 3 emeralds and a bunch of hermits and they do fine. I did attempt a feather duster and that didn’t last long at all.
Failed on me three or four months ago. Was a 150watt Neotherm less than a year old. Removed my apex to swap in a newer model and left without a controller overnight. Could have been bad for months without me knowing. Posted here and Instagram and had at least a dozen replies in 24 hours stating they had the same issue. @Robin Haselden had the same issue as me. Stuck on at 96 degrees. Pretty sure his was brand new.I am not saying this because I highly recommend any heater (I do not, all heaters can fail in my experience). but I am curious how long ago this was? A couple of years ago they changed the casing on the Neotherm and started offering a lifetime guarantee. Their Accutherm heater line are cheaper and seem so bad from reviews they are hard to find.
Mine riped a emerald apart one leg at a time .My Melanurus hasn't bothered with any of my shrimp or crabs
