Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

Can we all agree Nitrite is the most useless test? I mean, I never have done one on my tank. Have you?
Nope, last time i did it was well, the first week of the cycle then i realized it is not needed.

I wondered with the addition of coral and the skimmer offline for a bit.
im surprised tbh. Its not that bad. The corals love it though.

I have 2 drilled holes in the tank. 1.5" and 1.25". That's it. Starting from scratch. Durso. Will need everything quiet. I'll be piecing this together and have yet to see detailed piece by piece diagrams.

Put the return up and over the back of the aquarium. Use those two pipes as a primary and emergency drain. Herbie method.

It's quiet and safe that way.

Take a look at my plumbing.

LOL, please wear shoes when moving heavy things around on a dolly. You do not need a broken toe too.

Tank looks nice and clean. How thick is the glass again?
