Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

I’m so down. But that means I can’t go to my double diamonds, we will have to start at green

I would’ve said triple diamonds but ummm. Well. How about no.
I'll chuck a cliff with you....

I skied from a helicopter in Vancouver before. No diamonds when you blaze your own trail!
I've done many Cat days but never a chopper.... So expensive nowadays! I should have done it 15 years ago when it was somewhat affordable.

I lived in San Francisco at the end of the nineties for three years. Skied the powder all over the West coast. Yes powder is soooo much better. The first thing you learn is it is a slower run! I felt I was really good since I grew up skiing on ice in NY and VT.
Totally agree, If you learn to ski on the east coast IMO opinion you can ski anywhere in the world.

Very true! I played my whole life! Till college..

I have a vacation house in Tahoe if anyone wants to go. That would be fun. It’s 5 bedrooms,3 bath. In Truckee. Fly into Reno! We could talk coral and shred the mountains! Open offer! :)
This would be the greatest vacation in history. I'll leave now :) Tahoe's been getting crushed with snow lately. Saw some DEEEP pictures.

I know! We should all really plan something! There’s been avalanches all week up there the main road up from the bay has been closed!

Not sure I'd be able to pull it off this season but next year I would absolutely love to come out. Colorado was cool, made a handful of trips to Steamboat, Telluride and Silverton but Utah set it's hook deep. Haven't been able to change gears in 5 or 6 years now. The couple of times we entertained Tahoe they were having really bad seasons snow wise. This season and last have been nice rebounds for you guys.

Tahoe is great, skied and boarded there at Boreal, Alpine, Mt. Rose, Slide Mountian, Squaw but missed the other resorts. My wife is from Sparks so we used to travel there often until her parents passed. Colorado was Breckenridge, Copper, and A Basin. Idaho is Brundage, Silver Mountian, and Schweitzer. Oregon is Anthony Lakes, Batchelor, and Mt. Hood. Washington features my local ski area Bluewood, and I have also skied at 49 Degrees North, and Mt. Spokane. Utah was Alta. Red Mountain in Canada. That is all I can remember right now!

I learned to ski in Ohio in the little town of Butler. My absolute best ski instructor worked there and was about 80 some years old at the time. SNOW MAKERS running creating nothing but ice! Skied Sugar and Beach in North Carolina and some small place in Indiana near Louisville, KY. Anyone who can ski or snowboard the East or Midwest would kill for the actual snow in the West. I also agree that if you can ski the East the West is so much easier! If it is icy most of us leave the resort or just ski gromed runs.

I moved to the Northwest to ski but work too much to enjoy it lately.

That’s awesome haha! I learned to ski and board in flagstaff, AZ lol. But once I moved to PA I went daily to their local mountain(hill) in State College, Tussey Mountain! Haha. It’s so small, pure ice, but that’s where legends are made :p:cool:. Now I’ve done. Stowe in VT, Mont Tremblaunt north of Montreal, Whistler & Blackcomb in BC, purgatory in CO, then Northstar, Boreal, Donner, Heavenly, Kirkwood in Tahoe. Few random other silly mountains in PA and NY. Learning and going daily on ice really does make you look pro out west haha.

I didn't realize there were so many other riders in the group.... I grew up on Sunday River and Sugarloaf in Maine but have skied most anything worth the ride in New England. Aboslutely loved Tremblant but so so cold when i went. Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, Brighton, Park City and Powder Mountain in Utah. Didn't really care for Park City though the town itself was fun. Did a few single day Cat trips in Utah too. Grand Targhee and Jackson in Wyoming plus the three I mentioned earlier in CO are the only western resortst Ive made thus far. Alyeska, Big Sky, Bachelor, Whistler are all on the hit list. A week or two runnning through the powder highway would be fun and this place, I need to hit this place in Fernie!

I might not be fast enough anymore to be a ski friend! I am bumping close to 60 and that is no longer my down hill speed lol!

Hiring....what do you know about Corian and Corian Quartz for commercial and residential use? I am sure you earn more than I do owning the business lol! I can't do this forever and would love to sell someday! It's hard hauling around counters that weigh up to 800 lbs. More of a young mans game don't you think?

Of course you could use the equipment to manufacture acrylic aquariums and filters again. I still have all the stuff to do that. What do you say want to buy a house and business lol?

Long story, I'll try to keep short.... Age is but a number! 3 0r 4 years ago now I was wearing my Bruins hat in the lodge at PowMow in Utah gearing up one morning when an older gentlemen approached and says I heard you fella's talking, where in MA are you from? I tell him and he says no kidding, I lived one town over, what's your name? I tell him and he says no kidding, Do you know Jack?!? I say of course I do, Jack is my father! Turns out they were high school classmates and he had retired to Ogden, UT. Class of 54 or 55 I think which at the time made him 77ish. We finished getting dressed, I sent my buddies on their way telling them I'd catch up in a while. Made a few turns with the guy while he told me stories of their good ole days . Got home and asked my dad who could hardly walk at that point in time about some crazy thing he had done 60 years ago but never told us kids about and the look on his face was worth a million dollars!
