Ugh, I'm glad you have a generator! Where I live we never lose power for more than an hour. We have our own local utility in my town so never have to wait on NStar or Eversource.

All we got was the cold, not the snow. I know it's not as cold as it is with some of yall but for us it's cold. I think right now it's 21 with a windchill of 6.

Got the generator last week because we lost power. I can live with out power as long as the pipes in the house don’t freeze but fish don’t like it much. We have air of trees that need to be cut down along the power lines.

Thank you everybody for the birthday wishes. Woke up today with snow on the ground, if you know me you know snow is my favorite. Starting the birthday off right. Woke up early, time to get up and get some stuff done.

Seriously, in the early 90s, my upstate friends all came and stayed in my studio apartment in Manhattan for the Big East Tournament. They cancelled the games due to incredible snow so we went to Times Square and all made snow angels in the middle of the road where Broadway meets 7th. no cars at all.
