Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

So I have enjoyed all the laughs the last few days! I needed it.

Life has taken a rather nasty turn here for my good friends. They have three great sons that have all worked for me at one time or another. The oldest son still works for me. On Friday the parents show up at the shop to tell him his brother died the night before in a single car accident. Hit a tree, flipped the car, no seat belt, no ID so the parents had to drive to the accident site to identify the body. This was a great young man in his first year of Medical school and just accepted into the Air Force as a way to cover his education expenses. Would have been a Captain at graduation. My wife and I are just torn up for them. Three of the family have been on the road to tell the youngest son and the daughter about the loss of their brother. They arrive in a little over an hour from now. All I can do is pray for their safety and strength they need to tell their kids their brother is dead. Sometimes this life just sucks. And I can see we have all been there. Sorry about the post being such a downer. Please keep this family in your thoughts and if you pray we covet your prayers on their behalf.

This is so very sad to read. Condolences to your family and theirs.

Both my grandparents died together in a car accident. I still remember the knock on the door when the sheriff's dept told my mom who answered the door, that her parents died. 7 years prior her brother died in a car accident as well.
This may sound crude but after losing half my family this way, watching mom go from cancer was much better and we got to spend the last days with her instead of a cold knock on the door with sudden shock.

I got that same knock with my mother but the police were looking for.my grand parents. They came back and directed them to my aunt and uncles. Death just sucks

Sorry to hear of this @Lowell Lemon. Life really does suck at times. In 2016, my wife's beautiful 17 year old niece was killed in a head on collision. The other vehicle was driven by one of her high school classmates and she was eating and texting while driving. She straightened out a curve on a two-lane highway and the vehicles collided. They both died at the scene. It was a horrible time.

the hardest part is life stops for you but the world moves on like nothing happened
This is very true. Sorry to hear everyone’s stories. Excuse me while I go hug my kids.

Life is short and sometimes hard.

I received word that a younger friend of mine died in a car crash last night. His was a very similar, one car crash involving hitting trees and rolling over. He was only 33 and was a single dad to a 3 year old daughter.

Sorry to learn of the loss that all of you have experienced. Sending hugs.

So sorry to hear the loss of a friend and young father. I know exactly how you feel.

There is nothing I can say to make any of this less painful. I just want to hug all of you! I can tell you that for every knock at the door...the officer never ever forgets. I'm so very sorry for all of your losses:(

Must be the hardest part of the job. I slowed way down after a customer a local state policeman begged me not to be one that he had to report my passing to my family. I have often thought about that encounter and his kindness and careful approach to my lead foot. I still love speed but seek safer areas like a track.

Y'all want a dirty pic? Here ya go!
