Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

[crusso1993]

I've been using the smallest chisel for my dry reef rock. Now I need to build a scape for my daughter's tank.

What I don't see, and hope you have, are a good pair of safety glasses. ;Watching

@Hemmdog - what gives with drilling the 40B?

Been busy with this home plumbing issue. Haven’t had time unfortunately. They are telling us they need to dig a trench through our house and basically redo the whole plumbing to the main sewer system. We would need to stay in a hotel for a week while they work as well, and I guess board the cats and idk about my tanks..They quoted us $35,000 to fix it ;Jawdrop, so I’m trying to work with the HOA to at least help with some of that since this wasn’t caused by us, just a bad plumbing design and old system. It’s really been a nightmare. I’m so tired of driving to Target to go to the bathroom...

Ouch!

I have multiple pairs of safety glasses

So who's doing something fun?

I just changed the water on the Betta tank and checked Alkalinity on the reef. Is that fun? Seemed like it was compared to the laundry I was also doing.

Man, thats a brutal situation to say the least....Wish you the best! Just had to have the pipes at my fathers place drilled to clear through roots that blocked it out. The camera they sent in showed the pipe misaligned where it meets the main sewer line too. Just drilling the blockage was 3K. We haven’t quoted the bigger repair yet but I just vomited in my mouth a little.

That is terrible. Btw, the 5 gallon bucket with a camping toilet topper and clumping cat litter isn't bad.

That’s exactly what we have going on here. Massive tree roots breaking through the pipes causing it also to be misaligned. Bad design with no clean makes the job a lot harder apparently.

I’ll keep it in mind lol

In my case we are 3 feet short of it being the towns problem and not ours. Within 25’ of house and its on us. Over 25’ and its the town. Our pipe meets the main line at 22’ ;Rage ;Punch

The tree...

Plumbing issues suck!

We have had slow drains in this house since I bought it.

I sure wish I could come help out.

The funny thing is before they came out and scoped the pipes I was convinced my father was flushing socks down the toilet or some other crazy thing... It seemed like every week the toilet was backing up or the washer wasn’t draining properly. Such a Pain in the rear end!
