Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

Soooooooo the repairman replaces the screen and plugs the TV back in, apparently this new panel is bad too. He's going to have Samsung send a new one to be put in, he said another week or so.
All this time on my hands. Today ups dropped off my new ClariSea sk5000 fleece roller filter. Wow looks cool and so excited to put it to use soon.

@tdlawdo weren't you having issues getting chaeto to stay alive? If you want your chaeto to grow it requires this..

Haha just kidding, this thing has intrigued me since it was released though! Lol.

A light like that ought to get my hair to grow back on my head!! I think that is one serious urge light!! Haha

Let me know how it works. I have the KLIR 7 inch fleece roller. I had to pull it out during this diatom stage. It was always alarming from moving along too fast.

I will definitely give a review and some pointers for those interested in one. I did ask someone who has the exact same model as me and he said it would do fine on my little 50 gallon cube though they say it's for 200+ gallon tank.

Yay. My 1,000th post.

I've seen nothing but positive reviews on ClariSea and Klir roller filters. As a matter of fact, there is a thread on here that reviews/gives input on the different roller filters.

Congrats on 1,000!

I'm also picking up some 1" pvc from the frag swap as well. Getting some leftovers from others' builds. I believe there's 1x 4ft piece of red 1x 4ft piece of orange and many many feet of yellow.
Any cool ideas of what to do with it for our plumbing setups here? Life Savers? Rasta? Rainbow?

I checked Alk in my brute can today, it's been fully cycled for a while now. Alk is 8.
I will just throw some of that water into the 20 gallon with carib sea live sand (that's been sitting here in the bag for a year or so) Add a small 5lb rock from the brute too.
That will be my initial setup until my 50 is done being plumbed and stuff.
Will probably just go with the Aqueon 30 hob filter on that 20 gallon for the time being. I already have the filter and have the bio filter holder in the brute getting some good bacteria on that as well.

We had big ones of those in our backyard as a kid. I like them MUCH better than the magnolias in the South.
I hate magnolia trees. My neighbor has one and it fills our yard with those huge leather like leaves. Get out of my yard!!! :-)

I cut ours down. It broke the sidewalk and almost got the foundation.

We have three bald cypress trees in our back yard - and a yard full of cypress knees. :(

Another day in Paradise. My phone got stolen at work. I give up. To top it off, my husband just accidentally dropped my insurance.
Ugh! Your phone insurance, or worse?

Well that really sucks. Sorry.
