I gather some of y'all are going to watch the Derby? I usually have a small party, but not this year. I will be watching though. I love watching the spirited ones when they parade them out to line up. Love me a behaviorally challenged horse. I'll pick it to ride every time.

That explains how I ended up in Washington without enough money to return to the Commonwealth! Never went to the Derby but I did attend many races at Keeneland and watched a few races at the Red Mile! Lexington in those days was horse heaven and the hot place for those who did not care for horses. You were given a pass if you liked to listen to basketball games on the radio with the Kentucky Colonels or the UK Wildcats.

I laughed at one of my friends that married a younger woman who wanted kids. His kids were in their 20's already before the reversal. I watched and laughed as he waddled around his office for two painful weeks! Now he has twins and a preschool daughter. He will be lucky to see them graduate from college.....due to his age. There is a reason to marry close to your age!

I had a couple cougar attacks when I was much younger. I survived.
