Thanks for inquiring! I simply had some things going on that made it hard to get on here. Perhaps I'll get more elaborate about it in the future but not today.
I did read all the comments I missed and had so many different thoughts and songs in my head I cannot recall them all.

I also had an 8 gallon nano. I did a 1 gallon water change once a week. It was easy to do and kept the tank very healthy. I would stay away from the small protein skimmers, I’ve never had much luck with them. You should see if you can get a few sext shrimp. They are very small and look very cool.

The last one didn't go very well, as her hip hop solo didn't score very high. Turns out that none of the hip hop solos scored very high and having one dance not score well negatively impacts final results. Apparently, according to scoring, the judges did not care much for hip hop. It was a bit devastating for Kyla as she scored exceptionally well in the previous 5 competitions. As a matter of fact, she won "Overall Title", which is the top performer for the entire competition, in 2 of the 5. We had a very good talk on the drive home and her sadness dissipated by the next day. Nationals will be coming up next month, I think, and that's the one where she really wants to do well.

Morning everyone! I am excited today. I bought some cycled Real Reef Rock and some more live sand on my way home yesterday to start the 20 long. I am hoping to get the rockscape done and the tank filled this weekend between all the Mothers Day celebrations. Happy mothers day to all the moms, stepmoms, and grandmoms out there. I put three of those sexy shrimp in my large tank and we consider it a treat when we find the whole clan daily. I love inverts!

Me and @dantimdad have been having quite the morning with Fedex. Never ship fedex people. They will steal your seriatopora and swap it out with jugs of motor oil. I don’t even know... I’ve lost all faith in humanity.
