They are beautiful! Torties have a special personality. Mine was a feral tortie. She was absolutely the most bonded cat I've ever had. 21 years. I will always miss my baby.

Now for some tank stuff. Andrew has what looks like regrowth on his Oregon tort. Fingers crossed. My hammers look like crap. The screen cover came for the new tank. It's beautiful! Sorry reefing has taken a back burner for a couple of weeks, but life happens. Should have some new stuff to show y'all in a few weeks!

All the talk of feral kitties, a few pages ago, triggered a memory from when I lived in Sarasota, FL. There was an older, decent sized strip mall. I cannot the name of the mall but I do recall it was on Lockwood Ridge Rd and there was a discount movie theater there. In back of the mall, there were always feral cats. A lot of feral cats. I would estimate there were a couple hundred feral cats there at any given time. I used to buy a couple of bags of cat food and dump them back there about once a week. Then I would sit in my car and watch. It was something I always enjoyed doing.

Here are a couple pictures of my cats, Squeaky and Highness. They are sisters and I got them as very tiny kittens. They've been with me since 2006.

Only one kitten so far came out to eat. It's silly that I'm a little worried.

@dantimdad do not feel too bad. It happens. I wiped out most of my SPS recently with an Alkalinity spike (among other issues). Sucks, but we just need to move forward and be patient.

Thanks. I won't let it deter me from the hobby but, it does sting. They were looking so pretty.

I will wait a few months and see how the tank does before trying again. I ended up rearranging the rock to give more places for corals while I was at it and it looks much better IMO.

Yep and absolutely ridiculous. I saw a photo of one under normal lighting, it's kinda ugly.

Unless you run cartoon lighting levels it's not even worth looking at.
