Ok guys I have a dilemma. The new baby nem has been raised under good lights(Radion gen4 pro). The plan is to place at the top of my tank to attach. The rock shape is perfect. This is Andrew's baby for the lagoon tank. I'm worried about the adjustment. I think up top might be ok. Comments or ideas are appreciated.

I think you may want to go lights out when you add him, but I would start him up top as you suggest. I recommend float the bag, and then add him. Once you open the bag get him out quick. You probably know this already.

Long day installing a new security light and toilet at my friend's house. Our new toadstool didn't extend his polyps yet. @12gallonsofhex and @Crabby48 I finally got a head count on the Duncan. Only 5. I think y'all beat me! I don't remember what we bet. I will make good on it though.

I installed a toilet in a boat yesterday. Guess we both had a crappy day.

Andrew would love it in any tank. He's got Steve's, but that would be 2 bta in his tank. Not ideal. Should we put him in a little basket in his tank instead? Yes, I do realize this adds pressure to finish the lagoon. Insert evil laugh.

The nem might be a good distraction. The trip to my parent's house isn't all pleasure. My brother called a couple of weeks ago and strongly encouraged a visit. That was what prompted my sudden schedule change. I had planned to wait until after school started.

Our coastline is eroding away very quickly. Looks like we will be in for some more effects from a tropical disturbance this weekend. Hope it doesn't have time to ramp up too bad in the 85° Gulf. The models are beginning to zero in on the Louisiana coastline. Still too early to tell, but we could have our first hurricane of the season, although it will likely be a tropical storm. Still nothing to sneeze at, since it was a tropical storm that inundated east Texas just last year with record amounts of rainfall. It was so heavy it caused the weather service to add another color to the radar - purple. For those of you following at home, I am in the southwest corner of the state (the heel of the boot), about 30 miles from the Texas line and about 30 miles (as the crow flies) from the Gulf coast. #itneverends

Hoping you come through whatever develops unscathed. I went through Lake Charles, on Route 10, at an incredibly slow pace, back in 2012. A story for another day.

Probably but as you know it’ll tell you quickly if it wants a new spot. If it takes a long stroll maybe move him to a basket at that point? The basket directly under the Steves might be too close to the light tho. Something to consider.

I did think about that. I'm not really sure about gen4 pro. I'm guessing from what I have seen and read they use quite a bit of blues and violets. I'm hoping the dark trip will help the transition some.

I don’t have any knowledge with anemone. Mine have been moving around on the rock. They spend most of there time by the sand shaded by the rock overhang. So confusing

My gen 4 pro are at 50%

Not sure if f they have more blue and Violet compared to other lights. You can add what I think is a lot of red and green and cool and warm white. I use 100% blues and Violet. Red, green, and whites are 20%.
