Why the hell are you stressing about the nem, pump off, not pumps, leave the return or powerhead off (powerhead, pop it on feed mode if you can do that) and cradle it gently, foot down where you want it and let it settle, keep your hand in the way of the flow, watch closely, it fascinates me watching the foot getting a grip.
In a a crevice or crease or near a small hole, give it a way to feel easily secure.
Oh and as above, out of the water for as short a time as possible, just pop the little sucker in!

That isn't my concern. Lighting is the issue. He's been under good lighting. My lighting sucks in comparison.

Wish I did. I sold it in 1989 and picked up a 1970 1/2 Z28. I always owned 2 cars. My summer car and my winter car. Like @Fin , I've owned quite a number of collectible cars through the years. Unlike Fin, I no longer have any of the photos of them as they were destroyed in the divorce.
