Yea I was thinking Tula and Wolf was pretty cheap.

I'll look into that, .44 and 10mm is expensive... .45-70 is just dumb. $2 a shot retail. I need to buy up some supplies and go use the "father-in-law's" press. He's already got .45-70 dies. He blamed me for that. Shot my Marlin and had to buy a Henry, plus dies.

True. I looked into a desert eagle for awhile but never pulled the trigger due to the .50 cal ammo being stupid expensive.
I just have my old 12 gauge I did competitive skeet shooting with and my 5.56 AR with a EOTech Xps3-0 holo sight, laser, 30 round mags. I had to leave the AR in AZ with my parents.. stupid CA laws. I’ve been target shooting since I was 7 through scouts then on my own and “bonding” with my dad. Firearms are just tools, let me have my tools..

@Katrina71 boy scouts still do shooting stuff and gun safety things right? I loved that. It really helped show kids a sense of responsibility in my eyes. It was a big maturing moment that first round I fired off. I remember it vividly

Still like my crossbow better!! That thing goes through the target and then the front wall of the barn before coming to rest in the back room wall of the barn.

Yea crossbows would mess your day up big time if you got tagged by a bolt, scary strong. They are bada55!

When I bring MED students from the university to do rural medicine I always try to take them outback and do some shooting. They let loose and open up and become a human ...then i allow them to go do house calls with me and treat my patients. Get the uni out of them and help them become themselves again. It takes a human to care for a human..so to speak!

I need some range time too!! Let’s get those scripts written, I can add a bonus “doctors” note for work. Today was a long day of bridge building, a ten foot fall the I had to catch myself but cut up my knee and then went to my daughters to build my grandsons new fort with a swing set attached and then at 10 pm a patient came by horse and Buggy with 4 pieces of metal imbedded in his eye since yesterday... so after getting all those out over 90 minutes ...still pumped up and can’t sleep. Haha.. love fishing for foreign bodies in an eye with a 20 ga needle. I have never not been able to get one out (dremel use only once) and it gives them immediate relief!!! (Knock on wood)

I am just a punk at heart and I love to stir things up. You probably remember when Ozzy and, earlier, The Beatles were destroying the youth of America. Long hair, comic books, Saturday morning cartoons, etc. At one point it just became easier to say, “yes, songs kill people” and then keep jamming away on my guitar.
