You are right. Remember way back how sponsors were incorporated into the show. They would announce sponsors, or even show products briefly. It was clear who you were supported by. They were called soaps because soap type company’s sponsored the serials.

Now I feel commercials seem very separate from the program. Someone smartly said, dude, mentioning the sponsor is a huge liability. Distance is best.

Some ads you get are built into the shows. Network programming then has holes for affiliates and then your local cable company head end gets a few very local slots in Network and cable.

Also know, the cable programming companies (ESPN, TNT, Comedy Central, A&E, etc.) make the majority of their money by charging your local head end (cable company) a fee per user.

So I passed my drivers test! Only thing I messed up on was the straight in parking bc my dads truck physically didn’t fit into the cones. I had it perfect straight but it was still touching the cones
