Good morning all!

I don't like complicated contests either. That wasn't my decision to run ours like that. Believe me.

Also, I think that having half of the winners be brand new is not right either but, I had no part in the decision.

I think the rule should be that you had to be on the group a certain time for all but one winner but, I am happy for those that won.

Me too!

The nem did have a feeding response yesterday. Fed the tank some plankton just for him. Ok, they get it often, but I figured he'd enjoy a light snack after his long trip.
You are such a nurturing mom! :)

And who's to say the XRs are the cream of the crop? They may be that girl in school that everyone thinks is so pretty but has extensions, fake tan and when she takes her makeup off you think "I will take the naturally cute, curvy girl over there" ;)

Nice to see the nem stayed put, make sure the hippie kid wears eye protection when he frags zoas and palys. ;)

Do you know that State Farm business insurance won't cover and aquarium store if they sell Palys? Whilst getting insurance quotes they turned me down flat. The others didn't even ask.

How crazy is that?

State farm... Don't get me started...

I'm gonna ask a very basic question without leading the answer in any way. What type of light does a nem like, and why?

Honestly? Bright and with a hint of blue has been my experience where they do best. Now, you won't get these crazy psychedelic colors but they will be big, healthy and split like mad under the right lighting and water conditions.

Simply an anemone likes strong, full spectrum light to feed its zooxanthellae. That does not mean a BTA will not thrive in 100 PAR.
