We often judge ourselves too harshly. Some people just downright put themselves down in the name of being humble. Living in a negative narative serves no good purpose. These sorts of things are disturbing and have nothing good that comes from them. Only we know what we do but I can tell you this much; I'm a great step-dad. I do not feel I am being a braggard. I say this based on input from Kyla, Katherine and others. I also know I do my absolute best.

From what I have observed, I believe you are a great mom @Katrina71 just as I believe @dantimdad , @NY_Caveman , @sfin52 and @Why-Me are great dads!

Oh yea I forgot to tell ya guys...I was explaining to my daughter how clownfish change from male to female and that "Marlin" may be a girl because that's the biggest clownfish. So she wanted to rename him/her. So it's now officially Madeline and Nemo

I agree whole-heartedly, I'll be honest I'm a pretty negative person and it takes it's toll. I do sincerely hope that one day when I am a dad, I'll have to motivation to become more positive with things and be less harsh on myself and others. I certainly don't want my kids turning out like me.

It's nice to be around such thoughtful (Allbeit Enabling) people. You guys might not realize it but you set a good example for us parents to be, and I for one appreciate it a lot.

This thing is looking much better after its dip. It seems to be a bacterial infection since no critters came off. Do you all think i should dip it again every few days untill the flesh is completely covering the exposed parts?
