Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

please remember the lining of your wind pipe has cells called K cells or kulchitsky and a hair like cell that act as immune cells and also to sweep about debris. With infection or smoking these can become not only paralyzed and dysfunctional but the cough can tear them off and it takes a minimum of 6-8 weeks for them to grow back meaning the cough will linger that long under perfect conditions. With smoking or pollution etc the cough can linger for months. When you go to a doctor they feel compelled to give you something when in fact tincture of time and fluids etc are the way to go. This assumes no fevers etc. the color of the sputum is generally irrelevant. Point is .. you might be able to save your money and take some OTC if you dont have any contraindications to them.
Thank you. I actually switched to Mucinex DM this morning.

We are all frustrated with our new healthcare plans. Get this; my wife and I changed to my insurance when the baby was born. This meant that we were double covered for the month of April. Her insurance is saying my insurance should be the primary, and my insurance is saying hers should be the primary. Neither of them has paid the bill yet, and we are still arguing with them. Ready for the twist? Both insurance companies are Blue Cross Blue Shield! No matter what BCBS is both of our insurance carriers! Makes me want to kick Obamacare in the baby-maker.
my daily world... ACA was ...well not good

bravo, the only OTC worth anything.. yes the DM part you need at least 60 twice a day and the mucinex part you need 1200 twice a day. many places lock it up bc it is often used to make some party stuff. DM gets converted to a pcp metabolite. i was working urgent care once and family came in bc the toddler drank a bottle of Delsym (DM) and he was groggy to say the least. i sent to ER and then found out later the ER doc thought the parents gave the kid PCP and called CPS etc. i had to tell the doc to call off the dogs, take a chill pill and READ. anyway it all ended up fine but was almost a catastrophe for that family.

I have heard a lot of crazy things about the drug companies. I guess we are the only "civilized" country (whatever that means) that does not regulate the profits a drug company can make off of sick and dying people. Pretty shameless.
In reality we make deals to allow them to sell here at higher rates if they agree to sell at lower rates in other countries. But i will say that i have never not used a drug on a patient due to cost and none of my patients have insurance. I get most for free by calling the company and telling them about my patient needs and they always pony up the needed drugs.

Just had blood drawn. Hoping my white count has gone down finally
Infection?

Long story. Thought I might have luekemia. Been seeing an oncologist. Yes, I chose not to talk about it until I was sure what was going on.

Turns out because of an insane tolerance for pain, I had kidney stones for months and it resulted in Kidney, UT, and bladder infections all at once for months. How fun!

Count is down to 11000 today so it's about normal.

I refuse to comment on politics anymore considering the ACA saved my life twice!!! I'm not on welfare and benefit greatly from it still to this day, I love living, being with my daughters and family, I'd like to keep doing so in the future!!...Both sides lie about the other side being the devil or anti american based on differing beliefs.
what the heck happened to our great nation? We should be able to agree to disagree and then meet in the middle and go on with all our lives but unfortunately recently it's been hyper-partisan and both sides are to blame! BTW the republicans refuse to allow the federal government to negotiate drug prices with the pharma companies, thus why prices stay high.
We need legislation for the people not the corporations. Sorry not trashing republicans there are many things democrats do I don't approve of just trying to stay on original health care topic.

I love you all, you're all my people; black, brown, yellow, green, purple, white, polka dot, republican, democrat, independent, atheist, jewish, christian, hindu, muslim, I don't care you're all my people.

Rant over.
well said and glad you benefitted

I remember when employers paid your benefits, and even the cheap stuff was enough now its all taxpayer funded care.
My retirement health care will drop off when med c kicks in. 30 years in and the tax payer picks up the tab....FUBAR!

I already knew that was a possibility. I was just not willing to allow that in my head.

I once had an ER doc tell me I had multiple "partners" with a bad kidney infection. I corrected him abruptly. As it turned out though, my husband did.
HOW can he know such things ;Yuck

I had a doc ask me that when I had a uti. I didnt realize it was uncommon for men to get one. I told her nope im a one women type of guy it has to be another reason. Turns out I have the Bladen curse, kidney stones. It caused me to have a uti and I passed it at the docs office before she diagnosed me. I almost hit pulled the call nurse string.

I had a kidney infection once. Was the most painful thing I have ever endured, and I dropped a driveshaft on my head once and almost knocked myself out... car was on lift, took bolts out, hit with hammer, popped lose and my head caught it from hitting the ground.

The kidney infection tho. Freshmen year, fall semester, marching band. I got extremely dehydrated and that's where the infection happened. I never did drink much as a kid, I'd eat an entire meal without anything to drink. Kidneys weren't getting flushed like they should. It started with feeling like I had to go a lot but there would be no volume to it. Then the pain. Every time I went it felt like razor blades. Got so bad I had scabs form inside my urethra. Finally told Mom(teenage boy, embarrassed about everything) what was happening when I stared to urinate blood, and she game me these pills that turned my urine dark orange and made everything feel so much better...

Getting technical... me likes. I have the same type of pad I use when planning out a new construction project. I have a scale drawing of a patio/burn pit I hope to start on this winter around here somewhere...
