Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

Working on the Reef Savvy. Newly constructed manifold (re-do #1 on the tank). The handles got a coat of blue paint and are drying. On the old manifold, I had two 1/2” valves, three 3/4” valves and one 1” feed line valve. I decided that if I ever wanted to change things out, I would rather have all of the valves the same size (except the main feed line). It also took forever to get a matching clear valve. The one before was white. Anyway, here is what it looks like now.

Looks like an injector rail. Would be cool to paint it like stainless steel.

Maybe, but then it wouldn't match the rest of the plumbing.

loving the clear valves but I'll probably go white on mine and spray them blue.

Seriously, I'm taking Andrew to get a paint by numbers. The adult type. I have a Last Supper painting that I want to do. I figured it will give us an opportunity to hang out and talk while we paint.

And as things usually go for me... working on the tank and the wife pulls up with a truck load of mulch. Time to put bricks down around the deck and start to rejuvenate our back yard. Maybe I shouldn't have told her I was off this week and just went drinking beer during the day. Ha!

(BTW, am I the only one who read adult paint by numbers differently before reading the whole post? The “Last Supper” line spun me in a big 180).
