One that he picked I was jokingly calling it The Cheerio acan because it looked bland. It looks completely different in his tank.

The only thing I did, was got up early and painted a second coat of green on it. His paper is much more in depth than I ever had so young.

He actually got really upset reading about the animals being poached. We had a talk about economics. He was very angry.

My kids are the same. Very conscious. I think it is very important to raise kids with different kinds of animals. Even the local wildlife can count in this. In a weird way, other than the obvious benefits, I think it makes them more aware of other details in their lives.

He was excused from killing a fish for Boy Scouts. He talked to the Scout Master and explained he felt it was wrong to kill an animal you don't want to eat. He showed him tank pics and said he just didn't feel right about it.

I think this generation seriously may save us. I see my kids and their peers and I really think a lot of the world’s problems seem obvious to them

I agree. Hippie kid started a bit of awareness at his school. Now I see tons of kids wearing 4Ocean bracelets. It's a start!
