Definitely not his first rodeo. He is a professional diver and spends lots of time in the Gulf. He used to bring Sun Corals back by the buckets full. Not indigenous here, some maybe fell off of ships over the years and they live the supports if offshore oil platforms. They scrape them off by the ton. He has a 400 gallon tank at his home that was at one time full if Sun Corals. Looked pretty awesome.Aren't they pretty much the same thing?![]()

I meant the dead ones that wash up. I want them for a project.
I don't think you can keep them long term.

The tank was built by Coral Connection in New Orleans.

Meh. If you like really cool reef tanks then I guess so.
