It's November, get used to it. I think we all got used to the warm winters we've been having for the past decade or two as it's been warming. I feel (IMO) that we've hit that tipping point in where we will start to get more significant snowfalls, cold spells and harsh winters again, like we did 20+ years ago. Last 2 winters here have been really HARD and REALLY cold.
We got hit by 2 or 3 of the bomb cyclones, very dangerous.

What I hate is cold and no snow. Central il gets the cold but no snow just brown.

I lived in North Dakota for three years when I was a kid. The only thing I got out of that experience was the realization that people not in the Air Force actually lived that far north by choice! Seriously?? And then I realized Canada was even further north than ND. What the heck was wrong with those people?

I am apparently a descendant of some of the smart Canadians that got the heck out and moved south. My family name is not unusual in Canada or Louisiana - Primeaux. @JoshH we may be cousins.
