Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

Do your snails eat off your corals.

Only off the skeletons, never the tissue. I don’t have too many inverts in my frag y’all atm. The frags in my display don’t have too many issues.

I’ve found hermits doinf the pest of picking algae off tissue.

I might need another ipsf order and a shrimp in the frag tank.

Maybe skip the dip, turn all the flow off in your tank, use a 10ml syringe of pure hydrogen peroxide and squirt around the base of the frags. The peroxide should settle out and not touch most of the heads. It will also quickly dilute in the surrounding water. I do this to remove large patches of my bubble algae and GHA if it gets out of control. VERY effective and has yet to harm any coral I've tried it around (Arguably only Acans, Duncan's, toadstools and blastos)....

Definitely the game plan going forward for algae that surrounds the coral.

Hydrogen peroxide is an often suggested way to curb clove polyp growth. I wouldn't have used it myself for dipping cloves unfortunately.... Hydrogen peroxide is one of those things that they don't really tell you much about but its use needs to researched really well. There are a few corals out there that it's an absolute no no option for dipping. I hope your cloves can recover :)

One of the larger polyps isn’t showing its outer polyp things but is showing its core which is still fluorescing? Does this mean it’s still alive? I’ve seen it move a little but just hasn’t extended its polyps out.

I wonder if that means it has enough energy left to potentially repair itself.

Hit up Santa.

If @Katrina71 is unable to fit this new guy in my 10g, maybe I can give it to this young lad.

I can't believe I'm finally getting the coral I've been waiting for since starting this thing.

That's sucks. Still pretty. Looks like you still have one head. Any idea why the polyps bailed
One tiny baby still hanging on. Life has been crazy, I've been lazy, tank is probably full of ethylmethylkillyouquick and needs a water change. I made a few gallons of water before work, stuck two el cheapo heaters in the 44g Brute and had the wife continue to fill it after I left. I think she might have gotten 10 more gallons. My RODI goes slow in the winter, I probably need a booster pump. I'll get her to make more water today(Saturday) since she's off. Monday is water change day... hopefully I can get about 50% changed.

Naughty elves have Sugar Santas to buy stuff for them. No discount needed. :p
When I was young and worked in a salon, a customer got a beautiful silver fox fur as a gift. I'll never forget what she said. "The naughty list has much better gifts!" 30 years later it still makes me laugh.

Years ago I was sitting at an “upscale” bar (well for where I live), being served by the prettiest bar tender in town. Guy walks up and hands her a set of keys to a brand new Buick Riviera. No lie. The naughty list works! Ha!
