Ok, this is weird. @Robin Haselden please explain...I went to walk the dog. Typed out my post. Came back inside, the return is on and working again...still ordering a new one though, I know it’s old enough to be in a museum!

I got this tank secondhand, so I knew I would have to replace things if I wanted to keep it long term. This was meant to be my trial run, but I fell in love with the simplicity.

I have 4 clowns all came from sustainable aquatics, quarantined ready for a plop n drop
ditto on Dory from Pacific Island Aquatics

I just haven’t gotten any fish that I didn’t see stay in the tanks for at least a week at the LFS first. Take them home, quarantine them for about 45 minutes in the plastic bag, then scoop them out by hand. Teaches them who’s boss!

I have this Betta and he has had this spot on his top fin for a couple of month's I have treated it with Melafix and BiFuran with no change.. He seem happy .. Will this end up ... You Know.... Killin him and how long can he stay like this?

Other than my reef that’s the only fish I have only one fancy guy though. Mr. Fluffy Pants. Or MFP, or Mr. Fluff.

all the others are pallifinas, a paternal mouthbrooding betta in the unimaculata complex of bettas from Kalimantan, Borneo.
