So, it stays light longer up north in the summer? I thought being further from the equator youd get less light... maybe I'm understanding you backwards.

It stays light longer in the north. Thank about the artic circle. Stays light all day. Just the opposite in the winter. As you move north the daylight increases.

It stays light much longer up north during the summer (sun never really sets in Alaska) and it stays dark much longer during the winter (sun barely rises in Alaska). The effect is reduced the closer you get to the equator where the sun rises and sets at pretty much the same time every day of the year.

It came out before vampire movies tried to sell sex appeal, much better that way. Pretty decent horror movie tbh, this town in the north of Alaska spends an entire month with no sun.

So it gets dark at like 11 during the summer? It's still light out at like 930 down here... that would seem crazy to me, but then again I've lived within 50 miles of my hometown my entire life, and current live in my hometown... I know. I'm extremely adventurous.
