That’s total crap. @living_tribunal sent me some coral food, i was so excited to see what it was and the very first thing I did was take a picture and post to the SS thread. Really made my day! Can’t imagine reacting any different, and it’s not like it took a long time to take a picture...

My SS recipient hasn't posted on R2R in 2 weeks, was last on R2R last night, received package Thursday.
Still hasn't posted in the gift thread yet.
I'm thinking next year I'm just gonna pick a random reefer THAT I FEEL is worth the extra $$ and send them a gift on my own.
To be honest I don't care if someone sends me fish sticks; I did this to see recipients post their goods they've been gifted and I'm starting to feel like it wasn't good enough or the recipient was too busy for the SS exchange making it pointless, to me at least.

Calm down. They might be out of town, or they had to let internet/phone go for a bit.

I was more worried that it may not have been received yet.
I deal with lost/stolen "delivered" but not delivered packages everyday at work, just hoping they got it.
And I'd still like to do one with Katrinarinos next year too.

mostly just a lot of REALLY strange looks. One middle aged lady got offended at Petco, pulled out her phone and took a picture of me. Said “I hope you’re proud of yourself!” I said “ma’am I keep a saltwater aquarium”.....I got a blank stare.

That’s really disappointing about your SS people. I understand that life can get in the way, but I think that I would make time to thank someone who doesn’t even know me for sending me a gift. That’s just my 2¢, and I’m sure plenty of people don’t find that necessary. Maybe I can do it next year, I’m just not sure that my parents would let me. Guess I’ll see. Ive been lurking for a little while, but haven’t read every page. What is Katrinarino?
