What light does it need?

A planted light. Since my birthdays coming up I’m trying to pool family together on what I want/ need. The fish can’t have sudden on/off; they are jumpy. Crypts are notorious for melting with changes, anyhow. Since the fixture went out they were bound to be upset. But with the spectrum being way off they are super mad. They will (hopefully) come back when I get them a proper light.

I hated those lights

The planted plus or the planted plus pro? I have had the planted plus and absolutely loved them. But I don’t go for high lighted setups so it works for me. All of these were lit with the planted plus. I Went with the Finnex 24/7 since it was 30” and I wanted the length. I should have just gotten the 24” current USA.

A blue tang in 3’ by 3’... I don’t think I would do it.
Something else to think about is that leopard wrasses eat lots of pods, but you also want a mandarin. I’m not sure how the two will work together.
