Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

Alright so this thing is very strange. I had it at the front of the tank last night. I was going to put it somewhere today. I get up and look. It’s gone. I look around. It’s now mid tank. Still in the sand. What on earth?! I had it unburied cause I thought maybe it’s two things. It’s buried.

Can you share the pics of when you got it again... I want to do some looking around.

It looks like part of it is opening up. I’ll see if it continues during the day. It’ll be a little easier to ID then I’d hope. You see a slight bit of green at one of the bottom polyps.

I was gonna say it looks a bit like a pipe organ coral but then it went for a walk. And that stem thing. I vote alien
Agreed, its and alien. @LadyMac... I am perplexed. I have no idea what that is...

I’m thinking of moving it back and see if it’ll move again lol
Leave it alone, I wanna see it open... or move it, I wanna see it move back too... ;Hilarious

Do Gobys move things? It’s as big as she is.
They move sand, lots of sand. Especially around their burrow. Shift in sand and current, could have moved that way...

The alien coral couldn’t have moved due to sand. They would have had to pick it up and move it. See my lovely well drawn diagram :p

That is art. I love it. It is definitely not an anemone.
