Brand New 8 gallon bio cube

I just used a marine-grade white paint on my stand's interior and I have a piece of white Starboard on the bottom to catch spills and make the bottom easier to clean..

The more I learn about this hobby, the more I realize how little I know.
You know a whole lot more than you give yourself credit for.

Tractor paint from tractor supply works great also for stands. It is intended to handle corrosive fluids and high heat. I did all my stands with it and added the hardener to it. When dried it is almost like an epoxy coating.

edit: it fills gaps as well. My sump area is pretty much sealed due to that.

I was serious. Lot's of people have used it.
I did not take it as a joke. I have read several folks used Flex Seal. White is right too. The inside of my stand is black (no sump, of course) and even with a light it is hard to see things.

I didn't know you could use it around a tank. That's really cool to know.

My interior of the stand is black it's hard to see things unless I have a flash light.

Congratulations @sfin52 on your change in employment...new boss same as the old boss and all that! Now are you going to get that tank wet?
It's already wet. The 75 was broken down and 90 set up the same day.

I was boss of myself for 18 years before this job. I never want to work for me again. :-)

This is great stuff and right up our ally.
