I wouldn’t put 4 in my 75g.....
It’s a territorial thing more-so than a size/bioload thing.....

Tons of good advice and good questions. The way I am reading it the store seems to be a good one. Very rare.
The canister filter gets a bad wrap. They are fine. More than adequate for fish only to start. I say if he is going to set it up, I would let him and have him show you how to maintain it. Especially if he is giving u something for free. Even easier would be to get a hang on back type filter in place of the canister.
Sounds like it will be a nice tank. As you can see there are lots of ways to reef. You may try a few before you find one you like. Just do research and go slow.
