Brand spanking new here!

Welcome to R2R! No more lurking now :)
Haha...for real! Now I can actually ask specific questions and get some advice from all of you guys. And maybe show some of my mistakes so others don't do the same things. I should have done that when I first set up my other tank! LOL

Welcome. New Year and a new tank. Sounds great.
Yes! I can't wait to get it set up. Just waiting on getting the interior of my house painted, then it's go time! Should be a few more weeks and the wait is killing me!

HoHello and welcome to R2R!

Welcome to R2R. Lots of knowledgeable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.
Perfect, thank you. This is exactly what I need. My LFS is incredible, but sometimes it's nice to have a place to turn for additional advice. :)

Welcome! Excited to see more about your tank!
Thank you. This is how it sits now...stuck in the extra bedroom until the paint in the family room is done. That's a whole nutha story! Originally, my wife said if I get another tank I had to put it in one of the spare bedrooms, but once she saw how nice these Red Sea Reefers looked, she said, "put it in the family room where we can see it all the time." !! That's a win for me! LOL

Welcome to R2R! I have a Red Sea tank too and love it. You should start a build thread for yours!
Thank you. Yes, I am planning a build thread for sure. I think I have more anxiety about starting a build thread than I do starting a new tank! LOL. I see so many awesome tanks on here, but I'm going to give it a shot.

Which Red Sea tank do you have?

LOL build threads not only chronicle your tanks progress, but you get to meet a lot of nice people and make friends through your thread too. I have the Red Sea 425 XL. They're great tanks, but I would recommend replacing the return nozzle with a split one. Looking forward to watching your build thread!

Nice. I almost bought the 425 XL. I'm going to look for a split return nozzle now. Appreciate the tip!

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself real quick as I finally registered...after being a lurker for at least a few years! I always seem to end up here when I'm searching for something related to reef tanks. Currently have a Fluval Evo 13.5 thats been running for about a year and a half and a little FW planted Spec V that i like to mess with...But my main reason for finally jumping in and registering is my new build I'll be starting in a few weeks. Just picked up a Red Sea Reefer 350 and can't wait to get it running and start the cycle!

Looking forward to being official now and being able to use the search function!
