Jim, enjoyed setting up the LEDs, thanks for the hospitality. Glad to see the LED string was Brandon proof...who put him in charge of the potentiometer anyway? I only lost a fuse in the process....whew, I was worried.

John

wish I had only lost a fuse. I fried 8 cree xre whites last week. Not a happy camper was I.

That's exactly why I was worried, the 12 LEDs were not turning on. Didn't know whether they were fried or whether the multimeter blew a fuse. I was a bit worried to say the least. That was after the first & second try when one LED wouldn't light up in the string....it was in backwards...I don't know how Brandon did that....

I dont know what yall are talking about. Brandon is perfect and does no wrong! HEHE! Should I be worried he is soldering a new buss socket on my reefkeeper elites SL1. :squigglemouth:

I can't blame the LED being wired backwards on Brandon, we didn't let him solder so I don't know how safe your RKE SL1 is, but don't let him near a 10k pot.

LOL! You know how those smart people are! Common sense just goes out the window sometimes
