I've had many aquariums since I got into this hobby about 7 or 8 years ago. Currently I have a 75 gallon SPS dominant mixed reef and am setting up a 20 gallon nuvo mini zoa lagoon. Here the details on the 75:

Equipment:
-standard 75 gallon, drilled, corner overflow
-stand and hood from rj aquatics
-standard 30 gallon converted to 3 chamber sump
-bubble magus curve 5 protein skimmer
-via Aqua 200w heater
-BRS mini reactor running GFO and occasionally activated carbon fed by maxi jet 1200
-bubble magus 3 channel doser and shelf with vertex magnetic dosing tube holder
-Sicce synchra silent 4.0 return pump
-Reef Keeper light with 3 PC4s
-2 Ecotech Vortech MP10wes
-2 Ecotech Radion XR30s with long rail and hanging kit
-Ecotech Reeflink

Equipment plans: turn center sump chamber into refugium with light and pumps, upgrade skimmer, upgrade return to vectra pump, apex, calcium reactor, upgrade radions, install lenses on radions (already have them sitting around), upgrade mp10 drivers.

Fish:
Ocelaris Clownfish
Black Ocelaris Clownfish
Blue-green reef chromis x2
3 stripe damselfish x2
Starry blenny
Coral beauty Pygmy angelfish

Motile inverts:
Many blue/ red leg hermit crabs
Halloween hermit crab
Strawberry crab
Peppermint shrimp x2
Skunk cleaner shrimp x2
Sea cucumber
Various snails
Tons of tiny brittle and serpent sea stars

Corals:
Various zoas and palys
War coral
Pagoda cup
A couple different Lobos
About 10 different chalices (cornbread aces wild is probably my favorite)
Several types of acans
Orange leptoseris
Meteor shower and j fox ppe cyphastrea
Various acropora (purple bonsai, upscales microcladus, tri color granulosa, tri color valida, myagi tortuosa, purple stylophora, legacy green Titan, Scripps, fire garden, etc)
Peach and forest fire montipora digitada
Superman encrusting montipora
Fungia
Frogspawn
2 mini maxi anemones

This system had been through a lot this year. I set it up around January to replace my 65 and it's been through 2 moves, flat worms, a crash due to flatworm die off/ tank move, different lights, bio pellets (ran Eco bak pellets in a reef octopus reactor driven by a mag 3 up until 2 months ago), but now it's keeping stable.

I do weekly 15 gallon water changes. I dose 2 part and magnesium (currently brightwell, but trying out Red Sea soon) daily via a doser. I add amino acids and feed corals ever other day (Red Sea reef energy a & b, reef roids and Elos pro skimmer). Fish feeding me vary from twice daily to every other day, usually taking place at night. Lights ramp up and down from 10:30am until 9:30 pm using the shallow reef template. I dose trace elements every other day manually. Bacteria is dosed after water changes.

I plan on removing all zoanthids and palythoas once my nuvo 20 is cycled.

Thanks. It was looking pretty bad in September, when I moved the tank (for the second time in 3 months) from my parents house. I'm pretty happy about the way things turned around. If I could just get rid of the bubble algae

Haven't updated in a while... Replaced the BM Curve 5 skimmer with a Reef Octopus 152-s, replumbed the return line with red pipe and grey fittings and added a vertex 1.5 liter reactor into it running sea chem matrix, and reprogrammed the radions to the ab+ schedule, which I altered so the whites run 35% and the Reds and greens run 40% of the peak intensity (75%). I have T1R lenses but haven't installed them, and now I'm debated having them upgraded to 3rd gen. I have also been testing phosphates and dosing NO3-PO4-X as a carbon source to help bring down nutrients (6ml each day). Phosphates have dropped from about .26 ppm as converted from phosphorus, to about .055 ppm over the past month.

I've moved almost all the zoanthids and palythoas to the Nuvo 20 to help clean things up a bit. I just finished a light fixture for the sump so I can move the frag racks down there.

Current parameters:
Ammonia and Nitrite are undetectable
Nitrate seems undetectable (doesn't seem accurate)
Phosphate- .055ppm
Calcium- 435
Alkalinity- 8.2dKH
Magnesium- 1350
Temperature- 78*F
Specific Gravity- 1.026

The storm was not forecasted to do much to my area, but that changed and my house was with out power for several days while I was gone.

It’s been about 1 1/2 years since and I’ve restocked and am looking for an upgrade soon. Still running radion 1st gens with T1R lenses on modified ab+ schedule, but I just received the 4 bulb 48” aquaticlife fixture with the mounts for the radions in the middle, so I’ll be setting that up this week with 2 blue+, 1 coral + and 1 purple +. I’ve also switched to the aquaforest balling method as well as dosing NP pro and pro bio s daily, and phyto mix, amino, vitality, build and energy every other day. Also feed the coral a mixture of reef roids and AF power food. I also occasionally feed FM LPS pellets. 10 gallon water changes take place with af probiotic salt mix every 2-3 weeks. Other than that I’ve added an MP40 to the left side and positioned both MP10s on the right.
