Brass okay upstream of RODI unit?

I am hooking up my RODI to my spigot in my garage. The spigot is brass and I had to buy a brass adaptor to hook up to a RO line that feeds my RODI system.

I never have really thought about it. I always figured as long as it is befor the RODI system it is fine.
 
You can use any material you want before it goes into the rodi unit, but after it, on polyethylene tubing suited for rodi water...or schedule 80 pvc, glass and a few others
 
Thanks all. Just verifying. Most people have copper piping so I that’s what I figured.
