Brass Pipe Inserts?

In the process of plumbing my RODI to my home water supply. Any issue using these brass looking pipe compression inserts as long as they are upstream from RODI? I could try it without just run the risk of collapsing the poly line.

Lots of feet of copper before the RODI as well .... no problems

Upstream doesnt mater but u dont need it. I used to have that when i first started out and got a pack from homedepot. Havnt used one for years
